Certified Family Law Specialist

I practice family law because I value working closely with clients during times of profound personal transition—moments when compassionate, clear, and solution-oriented guidance matters most. No two cases are alike, and I take pride in offering thoughtful, tailored counsel to help clients find resolution both in and out of the courtroom.

I am a Certified Family Law Specialist with the State Bar of California and have dedicated my entire legal career to the practice of family law. My work includes mediation, mediation consultation, collaborative law, and litigation. I have a strong commitment to alternative dispute resolution and often help clients resolve complex issues—such as child and spousal support, custody and visitation, property division, and domestic violence matters—through mediation and collaborative processes whenever possible. That said, I am fully prepared to litigate when needed, and bring a steady, strategic approach to contested matters in court. My goal is always to protect my clients’ interests while seeking the most constructive path forward.

In addition to being a Certified Family Law Specialist, I am an active member of several professional organizations, including the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists and the Family Law Sections of the Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and California Bar Associations. I am a member of Collaborative Practice East Bay, which promotes out-of-court resolution options, and serve on the Alameda County Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee. I also volunteer in local courts to help self-represented litigants settle disputes and complete necessary legal filings, further supporting access to justice through cooperative means.

Outside of the office, I enjoy hiking with my dog (Apple), wrangling my toddler, reading with my long-standing book club (recommendations welcome!), and engaging in high-stakes Wordle competitions with my family.
